ESG organisation
The inclusion of ESG principles is systematically integrated across all levels of our organization and firmly anchored in our processes. Specifically, we adhere to the following principles:
- High-level commitment: ESG supervision and responsibility are embedded at the highest management level. Our Board of Directors and Executive Committee include ESG factors in their management and monitoring tasks and their decision-making processes;
- Internal ESG processes: We have introduced ESG processes to monitor and document the implementation and control of all activities from an ESG perspective;
- Continuous education: All Patrimonium employees, including Executive Committee members, receive regular training and development opportunities;
- Transparency: We conduct regular ESG reporting at both the company and product level;
- Support of and cooperation with other organisations: We actively collaborate with recognised organisations that set standards and promote the integration of ESG factors;
- Compliance: We ensure strict adherence to all relevant laws and regulations;
- ESG and Sustainability Policy: We have issued an ESG policy along with guidelines and rules to govern the conduct of Patrimonium employees and external service providers.
Sustainability Governance Structure
By means of an appropriate internal organisation, it is guaranteed that ESG aspects are taken into account and monitored in all areas of the company’s activities.
Our Board of Directors and Executive Committee have ultimate responsibility for ESG and oversee its integration across our organisation to ensure sustainable, responsible business practices. Our ESG & Risk team consists of ESG coordinators for each asset class that monitor our investment activities, ensure compliance with the ESG policy, and provide specialised ESG expertise when needed. Patrimonium employees involved in fund management possess the necessary ESG skills and knowledge and receive tailored ESG trainings.
