In November 2019, the Swiss Healthcare Properties Group acquired a building plot at Chemin des Repaires 3 in Boudry (NE) for the construction of a canton-approved 57 nursing bed
and an extension comprising 19 flats adapted for the elderly.
The total investment volume for the building plot and the new construction project amounts to approximately CHF 28.3
million.
Les Peupliers SA, which has been operating a 37-bed nursing home in Boudry for over 30 years, will be responsible for its operation. The care beds of two EMSs in neighboring communes (Les Jonchères in Bevaix and Chomette in Chaumont) will be brought together under the new structure called “Carpe Diem”.
The property is located in a quiet residential area, surrounded by vineyards. Due to demographic developments, the region is expected to experience a strong demand for EMS places and protected flats in the future. The project is being implemented by the general contractor Implenia AG, Dietlikon.
Patrimonium Asset Management is responsible for supervising the construction work, which began in 2020 and is expected to be completed in spring 2022.
