Manuel Leuthold is the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of Patrimonium Asset Management AG (Patrimonium).
Manuel Leuthold has been Chairman of compenswiss, Switzerland’s federal social security fund, since 2016 and is a member of the boards of directors of several Swiss banks and other entities. In his role at compenswiss, Mr Leuthold is involved in managing three large public funds – in the areas of retirement savings, accident insurance and income replacement – which together amount to more than CHF 35 billion.Mr Leuthold has had a long career in the banking industry: he worked within UBS Group for 27 years, including as Head of Corporate and Institutional Clients for Switzerland, before becoming Chief Administrative Officer at Edmond de Rothschild Group.
Raised in Geneva, Mr Leuthold holds Master’s degrees in law and economics from the University of Geneva. He is married and has one daughter.

The other members of Patrimonium’s Board of Directors are Christoph Syz (CEO), Daniel Heine, Stéphane Bonvin, Hans-Ruedi Trüeb and Peter Jäggi. Andreas Giesbrecht stepped down from the Board of Directors for age-related reasons.
