Primary responsibilities
- Support Management in developing ESG and Risk procedures
- Measure and improve ESG and risk initiatives and report outcomes to the Management
- Take part in the whole process of risk identification, monitoring, reporting and controlling
- Improve and maintain Patrimonium’s ESG & risk management framework and system according to Swiss regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Write reports and participate in internal working groups to prepare Management and Board meetings
- Create and conduct testing plans to check if internal control tasks are working properly
- Raise to the Operational Risk Committee key control gaps and flag where remediation timelines are not met
- Work with external providers in the ESG, risk management and compliance area
- Work as point of contact for Patrimonium staff for ESG, risk and compliance-related queries
- Increase awareness within the company and train staff regarding ESG, risk management and compliance issues
- Support Compliance Officer in ongoing tasks and projects
Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in legal, economy, compliance, or any other related field.
- Additional ESG or risk related qualifications (CAS, CRA etc.) would be a strong asset
- At least 3 -5 years of experience in an asset management risk, ESG or compliance role
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of ESG and sustainability concepts
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in financial markets regulation
- Team player with a strong ability to work independently
- Adaptability and flexibility together with a strong sense for setting priorities
- Fluency in German, French and English
