All 76 new flats completed by the end of September 2024 and ideally located in Malley, just a five-minute walk from the SBB station, are let: 24 studios, 21 2 ½-room apartments, 22 3 ½-room apartments and nince 4 ½-room apartments that are modern, bright and meet today’s needs.
The result of a long-term project and an investment of CHF 23 mio., which began in 2016 when the “Swiss Residential Properties” investment group of Patrimonium Foundation for Swiss Pensions Funds acquired industrial buildings at rue du Grand-Pré 8 and 10 – with the intention of creating two residential buildings.
The proximity of the SBB tracks required the use of appropriate technologies, the construction of specific facades and the complete decoupling of the buildings to avoid vibrations and structure-borne noise. The site has been decontaminated, enabling the parcel to be definitively registered as a polluted site. With their new metal facades, but wooden floors inside, these flats fit in perfectly with the new Malley district, which is expanding rapidly, while offering maximum comfort to the new tenants.
