Patrimonium Middle Market Debt Fund, a private debt fund of Patrimonium Asset Management AG (“Patrimonium”) focused on mid-market companies, has committed as a strategic financing partner to Willy Bogner GmbH (“BOGNER”), and provides debt financing to refinance existing bank debt.
BOGNER, based in Munich, is an international lifestyle company and leading supplier of exclusive sports fashion, luxury sportswear and designer fashion. The company operates under the BOGNER (Woman, Man, Sport, Kids) and FIRE+ICE brands and licences in over 50 countries. The company has been family-owned since its foundation in 1932 and celebrates its 90th anniversary this year.
Gerrit Schneider, CEO of BOGNER, commented on the successful refinancing: “In Patrimonium we have found a suitable, strategic financing partner to independently shape BOGNER’s further growth and development path. I look forward to a trusting and constructive cooperation.”
Dr. Daniel Heine, Managing Director Private Credit, adds: “BOGNER is one of the few German luxury fashion companies and has aligned for the future through structural and financial adjustments within the last few years and created an excellent basis for further growth. We are pleased to accompany BOGNER as a strategic financing partner in this growth phase.”
BOGNER and Patrimonium were advised on the transaction by Noerr and Ashurst respectively. The interests of BOGNER’s shareholders were represented by SGP Schneider Geiwitz.
